It's been an interesting few weeks. For such a dry place as Colorado in the summer, you'd be amazed how many water problems I've been experiencing lately. My condo is currently being repaired after a deck drain leaked and leaked and, apparently leaked for a long time... leaving mold. And so I've been displaced for a bit.
And then last night the FoCo Museum of Art had a heating element burst on the top floor, leaving a cascade of water running for who-knows how long from floor to floor. Thankfully there was no damage to art, which is amazing when you see the damage to the building.

And even more miraculously, my studio is just on the other side of a wall where the most severe damage occurred - and I didn't get a drop in my space except for water seepage in the carpet padding. I does mean though that I had to move everything in my space away from the wall so they can dry it out... so my studio is out of commission for the week.
Even worse, the Museum will be undergoing major repairs for quite a while. At this point I don't know if I'll be open for First Friday of Oct. All the other artists will be open, since none of their spaces are effected.
