I went to the first friday art walk tonight - nice weather, but only a handful of participants, streets not very busy. I went up into your old studio space. Kinda depressing. Couple empty spaces, only a few open for the art walk, smelled bad, really warm. Scored some nice eats and music at a new space called Artisan down on Cornwall. And the museum was open for free, never gone in there before. Not too much I was interested in..
You stir up memories! I liked that studio. But a lot has changed since those days. Is BHam not so hip anymore, or just slow? The museum on occasion has some interesting shows, or at least I hear of people who have work in shows there. Here in Ft Collins the downtown scene is raging on Friday nights. Most night, actually, but especially summer weekend nights. People were enjoying the cooler 80 degree weather.
