I've been watching a lot of videos on artists that do street art, and the trend for those artists to start doing gallery shows. Here is an interesting show featuring some young international artists. I find it invigorating to see what young artists are doing, and fantasize of the day when I too can paint an entire wall!
A bit of background: Many of these artists started doing street art, even graffiti. Then some artists started doing films of the artists creating the street art, documenting the process and the artists. Now many of the street artists create videos of their art process that become more of an art piece than the actual street art. All of this caught the eye of galleries, who now have the artists paint the walls in the galleries.
