Hotels on the Beach

When I first drove through Wildwood, NJ, I pictured myself spending a fair amount of time photographing the local hotels from the 50's. There are plenty of great specimens here. And I did spent some time taking photos. But I quickly tired of it.

Perhaps I had to spend countless hours walking the beach, counting the blocks by the hotels lined up two at a time. This series of photos is a sampling from a day where I snapped a shot of each block along the beach. These are the highlights, you might say. North of the wildwood sign is where the boardwalk and amusement parks line the beach, and maybe I will venture out again on a nice spring day.
